There are beliefs that cell phone use could bring a lot of health risks due to the radiation it emits. It has been linked by some to a number of health problems like breast, prostate and ovarian cancers. Some even point to it as cause of brain cancer. There is no solid evidence to prove this but many still believe it. This is maybe because it is easier for those afflicted with these problems to point at something concrete than to believe that they already have the problem when they were born or they did something wrong that is not easy to identify.

These concerns about health risks brought about by cell phone use have led to preventive suggestions to be formulated. Now you are advised not to put your cell phone in your pocket but rather put it in a pouch that you can keep outside your clothing. This, they say, will lessen your exposure to the radiation that the cell phone releases. There are other suggestions for the sole purpose of protecting health of cell phone users.
