Eyebrow Implants are the New Nose Job
It used to be that noses were the number one cosmetic surgery chosen by people who wanted to change the looks of there face. Known as rhinoplasty, this is an involved procedure that often times could take more than one visit to the surgeon to get right. It is also very expensive due to the amount of surgical expertise and actual techniques that must be used in order to reshape a nose. With this in mind, many people are looking at procedures which can affect their looks but are not as intense. Enter the idea of eyebrow implants surgery.
The eyebrows have always been known to be a big part of how people experience our faces. They are very expressive and frame our eyes which can show hundreds of emotions. Whether it is because the brows don’t match or they are too thin, supplanting the shape can be easily accomplished by implanting hair from the scalp.
This procedure is not new, in fact it was the precursor to male hair implants which have been utilized since the 1950’s. Several Japanese surgeons were working with eyebrow hair implants before the Second World War in the 1930’s. At that time almost all hair implantation and grafting dealt with facial hair changes instead of the focus on male pattern baldness today.
The procedure is really quite simple in theory and practice. The hair restoration surgeon will use a technique known as follicular unit extraction to remove individual hair follicles and shafts from an area of the head with good hair growth. This living follicle will then be carefully placed into the brow area at a pre-determined spot. The surgeon is very careful to match the directional growth of the surrounding hairs in order to make the results as natural looking as possible.
If you want a change, why don’t you look into eyebrow implants.
